Mentoring Programs
Our Mentoring Program has been in existence since 1999 and continues to flourish in both enrollment and continuous improvement. See what just a few of our past participants have had to say about their mentoring experience:
The Kellogg Mentoring Program is as beneficial for the mentor as it is the mentee. I truly enjoy sharing what went right and what went wrong as we enrich each other in the process. Our Mentoring Program affords me the opportunity to give something back and build for the future. — Director, Research & Development
Initially I thought that most of the benefit would be for the mentee. My experience was different; I think we found the journey very instructive, in equal measure. — Executive V.P.
Investing time in supporting and mentoring employees should be a number-one priority for all people managers. Creating a culture in which employees feel valued and cared about is what our mentoring program is all about. — V.P., Human Resources
One of Kellogg’s values, ‘We have the humility and hunger to learn’ is what the Mentoring Program is all about. It provides two employees with an opportunity to explore the true meaning of this value. The program pairs a mentor with a less experienced employee but in reality, both employees become mentors to one another because of the rich nature of the program. Through its step-by-step process, both employees have an opportunity to share insights and experiences that wouldn’t be shared otherwise. It’s a wonderful opportunity for a mentor to learn and grow, as well as the mentee. — Sr. Director, Communications
