Supplier Diversity

More than 20 years ago, we began a supplier diversity program in the U.S. to increase our use of supplier companies that are owned by women and minorities. By investing in diverse suppliers, we can provide better opportunities for companies owned by minorities and women and, simultaneously, help strengthen our communities. Today’s program includes suppliers representing more than 300 businesses owned by minorities, women and disabled veterans in the United States.

In 2007, Kellogg's supplier diversity program was recognized with prestigious awards from four organizations:

• Diversity Business.com – America's Top Organizations for Multicultural Business Opportunities
• Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce – Corporation of the Year
• Michigan Minority Business Development Council – Corporation of the Year
• Native American Business Alliance – Advocate of the Year
