Diversity and Inclusion

At Kellogg Company, we value individuals for their diverse backgrounds, experiences, styles, approaches and ideas. We actively promote diversity in our work force and in the work forces of those with whom we do business. This diversity inspires the innovation that drives our business and helps enhance our competitive advantage. It helps us make decisions that serve consumers in the varied markets around the world.

Valuing Diversity

With different backgrounds, cultures and experiences, everyone brings something valuable to our organization. We thrive on the diverse talents of our employees, and we expect all of our team members to treat those talents with dignity and respect. We know having diversity in our work force is not enough – we must create an inclusive environment where all people can contribute their best work.

Employee Resource Groups

Our Employee Resource Groups offer opportunities for employees who are connected by some common dimension of diversity to come together to build relationships. These groups allow members to identify and generate potential solutions to real or perceived barriers and to make Kellogg a great place to work for all. Employee Resource Groups include the following: Women of Kellogg, Kellogg African American Resource Group, Kellogg Multinational Employee Resource Group and Latino Employee Resource Group. Read More

Kellogg Mentoring Program

Our Mentoring Program started in 1999 and continues to grow and flourish. The program pairs a mentor with a less experienced employee. Together, they are able to share insights and experiences that wouldn't be shared otherwise. For the employee being mentored, the program provides exposure to other areas of the company and a way to be more connected in the organization. But it’s also an opportunity for a mentor learn, grow and gain a broader organizational perspective. Read more

Supplier Diversity

We have been committed to supplier diversity for more than 20 years. We know that partnering with diverse suppliers opens up a pipeline of ideas, solutions and better ways of doing things.  Today our program includes more than 300 suppliers representing businesses owned by minorities, women and disabled veterans in the United States. By cultivating strategic procurement relationships with diverse companies, we are investing in their future and ours. Our Supplier Diversity Program is continually building on its strengths and reviewing its goals.  Quarterly reviews ensure we are meeting our goals. Read more
